What a great weekend of kiting, when saturday looked to be a brownie point building day Kyle made the call that it could be on North in the morning. Then he picked up my new North Rebel 12m for me too and we went straight to Normie first thing Sat.
When I left Willunga it was calm wind, at Myponga it was windy and through Yankalilla it was howling, at Normie beach it was 20+ knots and building, again, Rebel Crew were out, the Doc, Kyle and Daz and that Rogue Raven boy Andy.
Great morning and we could have kited all day.
We then had it set for early Sunday, by 7.00 Terry was already out, Murf, Andy, Pete, Sam all out early, then Kyle & Daz, Rob, 3 dudes rocked up later 2 foils and a Slingy, Suzie, Syksie, Gusta, Trav, Sago and a heap of dudes sorry I didn't know your names.
Flat water, nice outer swell, big wind, huge air, kite tie ups, big slams, what a day.
My new North Rebel 12m was awsome, so nice to fly, light bar pressure, and so much depower, making both gusty days a pure constant cruize.
